F32, moderately severe in right and severe in left. Have been using CIC HA for 6 years. Want to switch to something that has Bluetooth because I do work meetings all day.
My audiologist at Costco suggested Jabra. Anyone used them?
I have been trying to find a way to stop audio from my Pixel 7 from streaming to the HA's and still keep the bluetooth connection to the Enhance Pro app. I want to have the phone calls come from the speakers in the vehicle and from the speaker on the phone so I can include my wife on most of the calls with out fumbling with the small menu popup on the phone. This is especially annoying and hazardous while driving. I have so far put up with this. Then I went to have the default volume and frequency settings changed with the Audiologist. After the settings where changed two of the functions on the Enhanced Pro app (Restaurant & Front Focus) where replaced with a new function "Hear in Noise". Both the Restaurant & Front Focus allowed me to adjust the focus of the microphones while in a crowd. Something I used a lot while in meetings and in restaurants. This new function "Hear In Noise" does not allow me to focus the microphones. Now I might as well just turn off the bluetooth connection to the app because most of the functionality of the app is now gone. The usefulness of the app was the reason I chose the Jaba's. Now I will probably switch to the Phillips HA's.
