Get the latest JDK 8
Windows x86 181.24 MB jdk-8u65-windows-i586.exe
Windows x64 186.57 MB jdk-8u65-windows-x64.exe
You don't need to install Java even you could just extract a zip archive and change the path variable JAVA_HOME to point to the folder and then add %JAVA_HOME%\bin to your windows path

Might this be the download you are looking for?
- Go to the Java SE Downloads Page.
- Scroll down a tad look for the main table with the header of "Java Platform, Standard Edition"
- Click the JRE Download Button (JRE is the runtime component. JDK is the developer's kit).
- Select the appropriate download (all platforms and 32/64 bit downloads are listed)
I believe the link below will always give you the latest version of the 64-bit JRE https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/
This probably sounds really stupid because who would want both versions, but I want to play Java on my computer and I already have the windows 10/bedrock edition on it. Now how do I go about installing Java on my computer?
Edit: figured it out, thanks for everyone's help
