Hi guys! I just applied at jcpenney thru their website and it seems kinda outdated so I don't really know if it sent because they didn't send me any emails to confirm they got my application like all other hiring websites do.
Does anyone have any experience with their website? How do they contact you? How long does it take? Also what do you recommend should I call their store and ask them? Thank you :) I really want to work here

The website was extremely painful to use to even put in an application. I don't even remember if you're supposed to get an email, I would just call the store and ask if they received the application. It's never a bad idea to call the store you are trying to be hired by. Depending on the store, they may not answer the first time. Just try your best to leave your name and number with a manager so they can keep in contact.

Please call the store and ask to speak to the hiring supervisor or the store manager and let them know that you put in an application and we're just following up to make sure it went through correctly. They should be able to pull it right away if it passes through all the basic checks. If you aren't able to talk to them, leave your contact info with a supervisor and don't forget to make sure your voicemail is set up and not full so they can leave you a message.

Hello everyone, I am trying to apply to work at JCPenney on their website but every time I click on the button that says "click to apply to this job" it keeps taking me to a sign in page. However I don't have an existing account and I don't see an option anywhere to create one. Does anyone know how to get around this?

JCP uses oracle and it's always having issues. I am a former employee. When I log into my people soft account, there is no way to update my profile now or job history. When applying at stores, resum doesn't upload through any of the options and there is no way to save it to my profile. I've tried through chrome and edge.
