Have you tried scrolling down on the official page of the mouse where it says windows download and look at the right side of the screen? The m6 4k is jot supported yet.

"the Keychron software" probably refers to Keychron Engine . It runs on both Windows and Mac. It may or may not work in a virtual machine as well, for example, on Linux. The dongle firmware updater does not Though the updater for the firmware on the '2.4 GHz ' dongles only runs on Windows. It may or may not work in a virtual machine (this apparently also depends on the underlying processor architecture , e.g. x86 vs. ARM ). At least for the keyboards; I am not sure about mice. There was recently a new version out for the dongle firmware (3.0, 2024-06).

Has anyone had any luck using Keychron's software for Mac? For that matter, how about with Mac Mouse Fix or Better Mouse? The rubber coating of the MX3S Master(and price) is leading me to consider buying a Keychron M6 instead of the MX3S.

I use M7 on Mac, but the config for this one is through web, so no problem if you connect it with a cable for that purpose.

Hello, I been wanting a mouse that has a software with macro which supports Macbook, and I was wondering if Keychron m3 could do it as I have seen its partial review from YT. I just want to use a macro that allows me to connect certain keys to the mouse side buttons and record it to perform a specific task, so I could use the side button in order to what it recorded. If you know anything about it, please tell me if this is possible.

Hey, I am thinking of switching to Keychron M3, I've seen some good reviews.

Currently I am using a Logitech mouse, that is not that great for daily use, but what is keeping me are all the Mac Gestures I am able to setup for the middle button.

I can:

- Click the middle button to behave like a middle button (closing tabs, opening links in a new tab etc.)

- Hold + Move the mouse up to open "Mission Control"

- Hold + Move the mouse down to open "Launchpad"

- Hold + Move the mouse left or right to switch between desktops.

I have seen some posts about programming the Click of the middle button, but are all of these gestures above also available to program?

I'm bored so I decided to look into this. I found a reddit post that suggested two apps and I was able to do what you asked and then some. Thanks. I had ways around this with my keyboard but I like having the option on the mouse too. EDIT: I was already using LinearMouse and it has those options as well. I am curious if anyone has been able to get the forward and backward buttons to function on the Keychron M6 with macOS. I know that there is third party software available, but I would prefer not to use another application.

I miss the Thumb Button on the MX Master 3 to open Mission Control and be able to switch desktops with a swipe, but that's about it. I feels better and certainly isn't as heavy as the MX. I think, overall, I'll like it more. I've only been using it for an hour, so we'll see!
