I'm thinking about trying Headshot.Kiwi for LinkedIn headshots. Has anyone here used it? I’ve also heard some good things about Aragon ai and BetterPic. Would love to hear your experiences. what did you like or not like about them?
I have been searching for an AI headshot photo generator that delivers professional results. I wasn’t expecting much, but HeadshotPhoto.io and Headshot Kiwi headshot generators surprised me, simple, quick, and super polished results! With just a few clicks, you can create a high-quality headshot by selecting your gender, hair, skin color, and background, no actual photo needed. While AI can’t fully replace a professional shoot, these tools are game-changers for quick and realistic headshots. Have you tried any AI headshot generators?
Recently, I was in the market for a new headshot. You know, something sharp for LinkedIn, pitch decks, and my other “serious” profiles. Instead of booking a traditional photo shoot, I decided to roll the dice and try three AI headshot generators: Headshot.kiwi, Aragon AI, and AI SuitUp.
Each had its pros and quirks, so here's my honest take after running my face through all three 👇
🔹 Top 1 - Headshot.kiwi – Speedy & Sharp The Good Stuff: BetterPic actually impressed me out of the gate. The headshots looked real, like me but on a good hair day. They nailed the lighting and facial symmetry in a way that felt authentic, not uncanny.
They also give you style options (think: corporate, casual, lifestyle), which made it flexible for different platforms. Bonus: I had my pics back in under an hour—much faster than I expected.
Room for Improvement: They don’t offer a try-before-you-buy option, which felt like a gamble. Also, while the photos were clean, the backgrounds could use some flair. I had to do a bit of editing afterward to elevate the final result.
🔹 Top 2 - Aragon AI – Most Like Me What Worked: Hands down, Aragon gave me the most accurate representation of myself. If you want headshots that look like they could’ve come from a DSLR shoot at a studio, this one’s for you.
They offer tons of background and wardrobe options, and the user interface is smooth enough for even the least tech-savvy folks. Plus, I got my photos in 30 minutes flat. They also offer team branding features for companies, which is a nice touch.
Could Be Better: Some shots had minor blur around the eyes and mouth, not a dealbreaker, but noticeable if you zoom in. Still, they were highly usable.
🔹 Top 3 - AI SuitUp – Clean, Corporate, Focused What I Liked: If you want a polished, boardroom-ready headshot, AI SuitUp delivers. The backgrounds are tasteful, color grading is solid, and the overall look screams “I mean business.”
They also let you test-drive the platform with a free LinkedIn background changer, which is a cool way to sample the style before upgrading.
What It Lacks: This one is strictly business. No creative flourishes, no casual vibes. So if you’re hoping to use the photos for something like a dating app or personal branding with a twist, this might not be the best fit.
