Recently upgraded to a 9070xt, but boy is it loud on the default settings.
On windows I used adrenalin to do -12% PL and do a custom fan curve, it applies on launch
Can I do the same on Fedora/Cachyos using LACT?
LACT 0.8.0 released (overclocking AMD+Nvidia cards, fan profiles, monitoring, etc.)
`ujust install-lact`
I made a tutorial on an MSI Afterburner alternative on Linux (LACT). For the new friends. :)

For people trying to overclock/undervolt their cards while also being able to set up fan profiles, there's no better software in my eyes. And it's also very lean.
Note: Undervolting your Nvidia card has to take the indirect route (=shifting the freq curve) as no direct voltage control is exposed via the Nvidia drivers.

Changes (among other stuff):
-
UI Update
-
Nvidia Voltage-Frequency Curve Editor
-
Nvidia target temperature setting
-
AMD Hardware blocks information reporting (#942)
-
Better Flatpak service reliability (#902 and a few others)
I just read the announcement and haven't tried the new features yet. As always, I'm amazed what the author(s) have pulled off though. The previously impossible undervolting for Nvidia being an impressive feature in itself.
Since this concerns running your hardware out of spec, be aware that instability and/or damage are possible! Use it at your own risk.
Feel free to report back how it works out for you. :-)
