I’ve had an ottoman instead of a coffee table for many years. Love that it moves around and I can put all my throw blankets in it. I put a wooden tray on top for drinks and such, but that moves around to different parts of the sofa depending on where we are sitting. I find the ottoman much more comfy and useful than a coffee table. More on reddit.com

Want to upgrade my coffee table as ours is falling apart a bit. I like the idea of a leather cushion-y ottoman as a coffee table because it seems like it’d be comfy. (Examples on last 2 slides.) Would this work in my space? If so, round or square? Or rectangle? Also need it to have storage because we have a lot of games and nowhere else to store them, lol.

Could do an ottoman with one of those wood sliding tables over the ottoman that way you can use it for a drink or snacks but can slide it over and put your feet up!
