Trying to recover account on the iOS App
Uninstalling app will result in removing app data (local copy of passwords), so don’t do that without having passwords backed up somewhere, or you will be at full loss (you will be unable to login to your account ever again without knowing actual password).
As lastpass is supposed to be safe (imagine evil third party trying what you are doing now, changing password without knowing it), best thing you can do is to backup your passwords (even if you have to manually copy them or manually retype them on your pc to other password manager like local keepass vault) and reset account.
Knowing your password is most important thing while dealing with password manager that is supposed to be fully secure.

Are you sure you didn't change bodies (and thus biometrics) at some point? You said yourself a lot of time has passed.

Seems like lots of people are having issues logging in. My story is as follows:
I had to do a system update which logged me out of the chrome browser extension. I thought I knew my master password but anything I try isn't successful. Previously I was able to use the account recovery through the browser with an SMS code sent to my cell. I get the code fine and then get this displayed "Verification completed. We'll take you to your vault to change your master password and complete the account recovery." Once I hit the vault button I get this message "We couldn't recover your account.
Here are your options:
Try another browser or device (one that you've used to log in to LastPass before)
Try mobile recovery if you've enabled it in the LastPass app
Ask for a master password hint (if you've set up a master password hint)
Business user? Contact your admin
If you can't recover your account, you can reset it."
Now I was able to do this with no problem in March, my IP address/browser hasn't changed. I never used the mobile app and filling out the support form seems to get no response. A reset will basically from understanding delete everything in my vault and I have all my work passwords/urls. Is there anything possible I can do? Any number?
