Do you find the touchscreen useful?
Looking for a thinkpad with touchscreen
Can only speak from my experience, but if you're okay with a used thinkpad, then you could try the X1 tablet. Just got mine recently for €300 on ebay, and it works like a charm.

Which Thinkpad With a Touch Screen?

This will be my first time purchasing a Lenovo ThinkPad, and I've noticed that many of these computers feature touchscreens. My main use for this laptop will be software development, and historically, I've viewed touchscreens as somewhat unnecessary. I've seldom seen the need to interact with my screen directly. However, I'm open to the idea that there might be benefits I'm overlooking. I'd be interested in hearing about your experiences with touchscreen functionality, not just in professional settings but in general use as well. Your insights could help me decide whether this feature might be useful for me.
Hey folks, im a new computer science student and i am looking for a laptop that i can not only code while travelling with, but also to take notes on my documents. My friends are all using IPads, but those are way too expensive and do not have the power it takes to properly use it with the programs i use.
Therefore, I am looking for laptops, or more specifically, but not necessarily, thinkpads, that can do both. My budget is not very big, so I do not know if a laptop with those features is even in my price range (~500€)
Fellow students use HP Elitebooks, Ipads, and lenovo thinkpads without touchscreen mostly.
Otherwise, please feel free to recommend me anything.
Thanks in advance.
