I just recently discovered the Levis 512s which seem to have the same taper as the 520s, but with slimmer tighs.
To me, that sounds perfect since I own a pair of 520s which are perfect at the leg but a bit too saggy on the tighs/butt.
I also own a pair of Levis 511 Biology, which ironically are almost a bit to tight on the tighs, but not enough tapered on the leg so I have to take them to a tailor.
I'm wondering if anyone here have tried the 512s? Hows the fit compared? My local stores don't have them in so I have to bother you guys with this thread.

Tried on a pair of 512s for the first time today and was blown away. I've always had a love/hate relationship with 511s...the difference in fit between any single pair is ridiculously huge, and more often than not I have to try on multiple pairs just to find one good fitting set. And while I want to like 510s, they're always too skin tight on me. But when I tried on the 512s today? Magic. Perfect fit with the perfect leg taper. I'm a skinny dude, 5'11 and about 160 lbs and these are the best fitting Levi's jeans I've owned already by far.

Just get 'em. You won't be sorry! see less I think you mean 311 v. 312, rather than 512 which is a men's jean. In the Levis number system, the fit gets looser as the numbers get bigger. 310 is Super Skinny. 311 is Skinny. 312 is Slim and is basically a narrow straight leg.
