So I've been on the hunt for a good pair of throwback jeans that have just enough flare to give me the new age look, but not so exaggerated that I look like I'm wearing a costume. The jean flare needs to be more than bootcut, but not full bellbottom. I would like the denim to be a thicker material much like Levi's. I purchased a pair of Run & Fly 70s Jeans that I thought looked great, but the material was very cheap. The chemical smell on the jeans took weeks to fully get out. I looked it up and I think it was the dye used. So far I haven't found a pair of flare jeans that meet my expectations. Am I looking for a unicorn product? These jeans actuate myself so I don't want to give up on my own self expression just because I can't find this in stores. The retro 70s and new age 90s style is coming back so I have doubts that I'm just out of luck. I will continue stopping in consignment shops hoping to get lucky until I find a source.

Edit: I realize now there is a very big difference between western bootcut flare and disco bootcut flare. I want to state I'm trying to be more traditional in my aesthetic not vogue.
