May 2, 2022 - I would assume is anything from a three way valve used to distribute the refrigerant to whichever compartment is calling for cooling/refrigerant leak/ or even a restriction. Doubt is the compressor otherwise your refrigerator would not be cooling as the compressor is the same for both compartments.
