I usually use the Mek reactor to make steam for the turbine. I hook up a sink from pam's using actually additions fluid lasers going into the reactor and use the same lasers going out pulling steam to a 7x7x9 turbine. Hello, I'm wondering if theres a certain way to get osmium because when i play other mod packs I can normally find it easily, but in this modpack i cannot seem to find any at all.

If I'm not mistaken, in Eternal osmium is only found in The Beneath and by the AA Lens of the Miner, which turned up tons for me in my playthrough.

Normally in MC Eternal, Osmium and the 4 key Nuclearcraft Ores are found in the Beneath dimension, which is quite deadly for those unprepared, mobs in it are 8 times as strong as they usually would be, health and damage, you'll want to be prepared, Protection IV Diamond Armor should be a fine choice.

So I created my mekanism steam turbine as well as a 42.GRF energy storage. Now those things were semi easy to build. Is there a better way to store the energy and is the flux wireless network the best for wireless transfer. I'm about to start a new base construction with everything automated. I want make sure I have optimal power, power storage and power transfer so I don't run out or have a "kink" in my power line. Is the route I'm taking a good one?

Mekanisim induction cells and flux network are the best ways to store and transfer power. Just make sure disable limits on the plug providing power to your flux network

A induction cell +herculean storage will probably do. It seems even with no limit there is a slight input delay so high energy use bases can drain your flux network completely it if you dont use herculean, making it seem broken, like it isnt drawing power. Or you could just add a few plugs, though this probably wont work forever.

Hi guys, i just started playing mc eternal 2. Earlier i played create mod with all machinery that there is and i loved it. Because of so many mods in mc eternal 2 i dont know what are the best machines to create on start. Could someone give me a little guide or tips on best machines to start with in this mod pack? Create is great for some things. If you’re looking for more of a “tech” mod Thermal Series is the way to go early game. Mekanism is good once you progress.

If you're looking for resource generation, your best bet is realistic Create. You can do simple iron, and gold farms, and drills are kind of the only method of "auto" ore gathering available right now. The pack kind of lacks the common resource generation mods such mystical agriculture and industrial foregoing. You can also generate ores with botania, but it's not really scalable to any reasonable degree.

July 18, 2025 - Making an ME system with Applied Energistics makes getting into craft-heavy mods like Mekanism and the Thermal series much easier; while Thaumcraft makes resource gathering and management significantly easier due to the unique properties of its crafting and the Crucible. The pack has a very long list of pros and cons, most of which being pros. The biggest setback of the modpack was aimed to be alleviated in Minecraft Eternal 2 - being on an older version.

Just gonna place the tips posted in the Official Discord Server: Do you need early game steel but don't want to make a bunch of machines? Just toss four coal and one iron in the Tinkers Smeltery and you're good to go! Making a Torch Launcher is cheaper than crafting torches! You get 256 torches when using the launcher but only 72 if you used the same materials! Want to kill the blue slime-y thing that spawns when you kill mobs? Potions of harming or Arc spell from Wizardry will help you! Remember to loot what you want before fighting a Battle Tower golem! Multiple explosions will destroy the tower after his defeat! Fire dragon hunting? Don't forget to bring fire resistance potions, or better yet, accessories/pets that gives you fire resistance! Want to travel/explore the world faster? Use slime sling, slime boots and hang glider! Did you just die on a far away place or don't know how to get back to your grave? There's a 25% chance of you getting an enchanted version of your key allowing you to teleport to your grave just by holding right-click, or combine your key with an enderpearl to enchant it. You can also use the /back command (cheats isn't needed to be enabled), but has 2 minutes cooldown. Unless you want to see your tamed pets (dragons included) getting dragged into another dimension, never to be seen again, then make sure they're in a safe and well illuminated place. Torch launcher automatically "reloads" by consuming torches in your inventory. Useful when adventuring during nighttime. For early game food, you can use 2 wheat to get 2 Baguettes ©️RooBoy Having problems with inventory space when mining? Craft a dank/null and it'll solve your inventory worries. Want to manage your storage early-game? Use Simple Networks as they're easy to setup. ©️AllHailGaben Don't have resources or don't want to craft ender chests/tanks? A great way to move items/energy/fluid over distances/dimensions is with Integrated Dynamics' Omni-Directional connectors. Bibliocraft Typesetting table and Printing press can copy enchanted books should you find a really useful enchantment. A great way to automate grains of infinity is to pour a bucket of fire water over some bedrock and slap on an item collector/vacuum hopper in a loaded chunk. RandomPatches has a config that changes particle that conflicts with CleanView. Better turn it off if you're planning to use CleanView mod. BetterFPS's [Fast Beacon] setting affects vanilla beacons, so if you wanna use vanilla beacons be sure to turn it off. Electroblob's Wizardry has a setting that replaces vanilla fireballs, this changes the Ghast fireballs as well, turn it off if you're trying to get the [Return to sender] achievement ©️kuwhan

MC Eternal is a large-sized pack with currently around 290 mods Spice of Life is installed. It is Carrot Edition, so you are rewarded for eating many foods. The recipes, far as can be seen, are not changed. Two stacks each of sand, gravel and clay blocks can make an enormous smeltery. Just have extra glass and obsidian for making the openblocks tanks. Use the currency earned from quests for easy to craft items that you use commonly in a fight, like arrows. Tinkers' bows CAN use vanilla arrows.

Hey guys. I’m newish to modded so I was wondering what a great source of power is for the game. I’ve started a garden cloche farm so that’s usable to create resources. I haven’t beaten the wither yet so I’m still mid game. Any ideas?

Magmatic dynamos with a pump with a proper range in the nether+ender tank for overworld is easy to setup. you can setup a magmatic dynamo to power the pump in a self-feeding loop. Even easier is Moog-ma cow (or whatever the name is) to generate lava... Mystical Agriculture coal seeds into any coal powered generator is also easy. I personally restricted myself from using MA until end-game. Felt a bit TOO easy to me. After that, Mek gas-burning generators then fusion reactor was my power gen progression.

I like the immersive engineering steam turbine + alternator. Supply it with steam from thermal expansion dynamo with boiler conversion, or you can use a chain of cloches feedng onto a IE squeezer + fermenter into refinery into boiler into steam turbine - for the aesthetics.
