They told me i have $1700 on the card, but i would like to purchase a gaming laptop that is around $2800. I did it through the credit card because i can make a monthly payment of 116 dollars for two years with zero APR. How do i apply for this? The reason i got the card is because i love electronics, and very responsible with credit cards, never missing payments or anything. However i just don't want this card to hurt me in the long run. I want to be able to get at least 2 years no apr. I have excellent credit as it is, so this would be a second credit card

It's just a credit card. If you pay off your balance per month, it costs you $0 to own it. 5% off all purchases is absolutely 100% worth it.

Not sure about credit scores but it does ask you much you make annually. I got it yesterday and the bank gave me 1,500. At checkout the cashier asked me whether I wanted 5% off or 12 months special financing. I ultimately went with the 12 month special financing option.

Quick question to anyone with a MC card, have you ever asked for a credit line increase and successfully received one?
MC is the only store cc in my arsenal that I enjoy but it’s of course issued by Wells Fargo and I have never received a CLI from them by formal request. I use it fairly regularly on a yearly basis.
Avg Score is like a 650 @ $4200~ or something like that, have had this card for over a decade now and I’ve been told they even redesigned the card recently. It’s unfortunately I think 1 of 2 cards that are the oldest in my profile too so it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
Edit: To provide clarity, my score in the past decade has ranged between 600-750~; where current day I avg about 650 until my revolving debts are paid down. My total credit limit amongst all relationships is probably around 28k.
I'm not asking whether or not I will see an increase in my position as I am but I'm wanting to clarify that Wells Fargo does indeed offer increase limits on their 'store-brand' partner CCs and that I'm not being gaslit into thinking that they don't. I've heard some creditors simply don't and that you need to apply again to get a new account to find a higher limit (could be a creditor padding their metrics for new applicants etc, idk.)
