You were a data entry clerk into proprietary workflow that has little translatable skills outside that environment. If you do not know how to use the Microsoft product ecosystem you are at a severe disadvantage. In most cases this disqualifies you from almost all positions that require much use of technology beyond a hardset/defined workflow. If you want a J O B ... look local or call center. I wanted to work from home so badly. I wanted to do data entry-level to no experience data entry, since I did a temporary date entry job a few years back. However when I did it in the office, my company didn't use any Microsoft office or QuickBooks, or nothing like that. We had a particular program that we logged into, which took you to some links that took you the project you'll gonna be working on and different tasks in that project.
Even as a scanner/assembly/document processor for JP Morgan Chase backend (as well as mail handling), I not once used Microsoft Office; and I like it that way. But whenever I look for Data entry jobs, they always asking for Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and other software I never used. I was wondering..... A). What kind of data entry I was doing? or what would you call that type of data entry I was doing? B). If that not what you classify as data entry, then what would the proper title I should use for my searches and self? C). Do you have to learn Microsoft Office? I don't even have it in my computer; I have Libre. And I hate Excel, I only used the basic functions on Word and PowerPoint, and I never used Access.

Hello everyone, As the title suggests, I need help from you experienced nomads who were able to get remote jobs and shift to other countries on nomad visa
I am a full stack developer, based in canada with an experience of 5+ years. I have been looking for remote jobs since quite sometime, applied for many jobs from all the top remote job websites, linkedin etc.. but sadly didn't get any response from any company till now. Why would someone who doesn't know you or what you can do make any effort at all to connect you with extremely rare work? Anybody can claim to be "a full stack developer." What "stack" do you mean? You didn't mention any actual technology. Or... are you claiming that you can develop anything anywhere because you did some front- and back-end stuff? If you're confident that can do everything everywhere, I know someone looking for a solid PowerHouse developer with in-depth experience in OpenVMS as well as MS-environment middleware development experience. Want me to forward them your resume? (I have that experience, BTW, and I only know about them because they reached out to me... but they still didn't hire me, so for your sake I hope you can code DCL and C# in your sleep.) As someone else commented... "get some perspective."
