So I bought Xbox One in Qatar with Gears of war redeem code. In my Xbox, location is set to USA (Qatar is not available) and language is set to English (US). I am trying to redeem code but it says:
You can’t acquire this item in your currently selected language. Change your language region in Settings, or go to microsoft.com//redeem
What the hell is this? Then I changed location to "UAE" and language location to "UAE (English)" but same issue.
How am I supposed to know what setting to use?
Does the same happened with PS4? I am a big Microsoft advocate (still using 2 years old Microsoft Lumia upgraded to Windows 10) BUT now I am really thinking of not not buying anything from them.
How do I resolve this issue?
