April 18, 2012 -
I was looking at the catalog and I noticed it went right from 22 (Nuclear Science) to 24 (Linguistics and Philosophy). Was there ever a Course 23? If so what was it?

This suggests that Course 23 used to be Modern Languages (from 1957 to 1969), then changed to Foreign Literature and Linguistics (from 1969 to1976), then disappeared. I remember hearing that Course 19 used to be Food Sciences, and so there was a restaurant in the Student Center called "Course 19," but that same link doesn't seem to corroborate that.
