Grand Peacock Inn is a hotel in the American Gods universe In 1951, a young man was being pursued by the police for the alleged crime of sodomy. He took refuge in the hotel and the manager Tony helped him hide from the police.

He declares the inn a temple for themselves and all kindred spirits. Later, Toni escorts Tu out and says that she figures he's an amazing storyteller. Tu breathes out a mass of butterflies, which soar out and make a peacock logo on the front of the hotel. Toni stares at the miracle in shock and surprise.

The Peacock Inn is on the higher end of mi-range pricing, but so are most places on that part of High Street Northcote. But it's stil value for money. Ther food's great, and there's a good wine list. There's a separate menu for the Bistro. There's one menu for the pool / sports bar & the courtyard.

I've traveled all around the Houston/Baytown area to find friendly-family facility, and I can tell you that this place passed my expectations. The new manager was very sweet and calm with my daughter and I.Very private lot. I highly recommend Peacock Inn and Stables.
