We used to ride our bikes through the exit and watch movies. Had a friend who lived right across the street. We used to put up a tent and find the am station and watch from there too. It's hard to recall a Michael Moore movie that doesn't devote at least some time to Flint. It's not unusual for him to shoehorn an update into whatever topic ostensibly, he's addressing (even Bowling for Columbine had a Flint segment). So I dunno how conspiratorial I would wanna be, here. Was it really false advertising? Of course he's gonna talk about the water crisis. He's Michael Moore. In some ways, every Michelle Moore film is less an independent, cohesive whole than an ongoing addendum to "Roger and Me." Still, this particular entry really did tip more in favor of Flint than Trump and probably should have been titled to reflect that, rather than giving viewers the idea that it was going to be a Trump takedown. I'm torn between blaming his end result on bad editing and sloppy film-making (throwing in everything but the kitchen sink) and plain old over-ambitiousness on Moore's part.
