FIX: Locate Chrome shortcut on desktop. If you don't have it, go to chrome://settings/manageProfile and at the bottom enable "Create desktop shortcut". Fully exit Chrome Go to desktop and right click the shortcut then click Properties. To the target field paste the following string to the end " --enable-features=SkipUndecryptablePasswords". Okay you might have one option, if you synced your passwords to your Google account and you have one system which hasn't seen the delete command, all your passwords might still be on that system. If you are that lucky you would have to disconnect it from the internet before it has the chance to sync the changes. And then document all of your passwords and usernames to a proper password manager. One more thing on this instruction if you check the password manager well connected to the internet you're likely going to have all the passwords wipe right in front of your eyes so you will have to disconnect the internet before you even check your other device, turn off Wi-Fi pull physical network cables All that jazz. Before you click any links in the mail, check the URL in them. Also, check Mega's policy on emails they send (e.g. do they always include your first & last name) to verify the authenticity of the email. Also, check the message headers & source to see where the mail really came from. Three things that raised red flag to me in that email are: Using of all caps in the first paragraph Asking you to verify your email Linking to Wikipedia For the first, it is very unprofessional and common tactic used in scam mails, I somehow doubt Mega would be using such method. Normally companies include information only they and you know to prove the message came from them (e.g. last digits of you CC or account number etc.). For the second: why do they want you to verify your email if they already know it? Normally that would be a link to reset your password. For the third: why woud they include links to Wikipedia to "prove" their claims? I've never seen any company doing that in their official communication. Last but not least, if you can, login to your account through Mega's site, if your account is locked, they will tell you, if not, proceed and change the pasword manually for just in case.
