Every time I put chips in the smoker drawer they catch on fire. I soak them, have tried wrapping them in foil, big chips, small chips. I've tried turning the smoker as low as it will go, turning it off once it starts smoking. Nothing seems to work. I'm having to change the chips every half hour. Is this normal? Does anyone have any tips?

Like they legit catch on fire? In good news that means there is combustion, so there’s good smoke. And 20 minutes doesn’t seem terrible. I feel like I used to add a handful of chips every 30 min or so when I used to use my propane smoker
