Strictly speaking, a lot of people here are going to recommend you stop in a brick and mortar store versus buying online. Mostly for the warranty, if you get a mattress from one of those companies you're going to have a bad time.
at 330lbs, I can tell you that if you lose support with those mattresses, they'll run around you with replacing it. if you complain they'll probably just mail you a mattress topper (probably costs them like $20) and it'll feel soft, but won't replace the support.

We are in desperate need of new mattresses for our adjustable bases. We have a split king and need twin XLs. We are considering Nectar and Purple, but weary to pull the trigger on either. I've seen nightmare stories about them both and good reviews as well. However, the better reviews are usually from newer customers. Is there anyone that has been an owner of either for multiple years and still happy?

Purple is a much higher quality mattress along with far superior customer service compared to Nectar, but that doesn't make the Purple a good choice for all sleepers as no mattress is. You would need to check it out to see if you find it comfortable and supportive, it has a very unique feel that is quite divisive in appeal. Good luck with your mattress selection.
