makes sense, at a certain point of market saturation there will be more people abusing the free trial for free access, as opposed to using it to test the service. Disney+ already stopped their free trial, HBOMax only has a 7 day free trial, etc. Next up will be streaming services increasing prices for paying monthly (as opposed to yearly) as a way to disincentivize customers from buying a month or two then cancelling - and switching btw the different services More on reddit.com
