I've spent several grand with them in the past three years with no issues at all. Just make sure you choose to buy from Newegg themselves and not a 3rd party vendor who's selling via Newegg. More on reddit.com

I was able to make two purchases of gift cards this morning on Newegg and pay with Paze no problem. When I tried to buy more just now, Paze is now grayed out. I can still pay with Paze for other items that’s are not gift cards. Anyone else experiencing this? Did they finally disable Paze for gift cards on Newegg?

I sourced all of my 2000's Athlon A computer parts from newegg way back in the day

Perfectly fine. Just make sure to turn on the Sold By Newegg toggle. I would not use them for third-party sellers.

I haven't been involved in the computer community as of the last few years, but I remember that newegg was the place to go to for computer parts and such. But last I heard there was some controversy with newegg just scamming people out of products, and being very difficult with damaged goods and delivering the product in general. I'm looking to get new parts for my PC, such as the case, motherboard, and RAM. While getting the rest from amazon. Would you guys still go with them or should I get everything from bestbuy/amazon or vendor's website if possible anyway? Thanks.

Like Amazon, please make sure you're buying from them instead of some weird sketchy seller. I've had zero issues with them even had my 9800x3D delivered a week early! They usually sport some of the best deals too as I got a free ram kit with my board and good Black Friday sales on my 850X ssds and PSU.

Anyone been buying Newegg gift cards for the Paze promo? Aka, the gift card for the actual merchant Newegg, not gift cards for other merchants. I've been able to buy 11 in a row so far (I have 4 eligible cards, so I'll be able to buy 40 total). These in theory should still work right? should i just keep buying them until Newegg doesn't let me anymore or puts me on a cooldown?

I’ve gotten $200 worth of gift cards so far. I know there’s a small risk the $200 of statement credits don’t go through, but the worst case scenario is that I get 11-11.5x points for my Chase cards. I prioritized getting gift cards for merchants that I would’ve purchased from regardless to decrease overall damage in the case it doesn’t go through. In my opinion, it’s worth the risk if you’re able to front load the money now.

just keep going until something stops you, no reason to pump the brakes early. worst case they put a cooldown and you just wait it out, but 11 deep with no issues is a pretty good sign tehre's no hard limit yet
