It's a tool. And like all tools, if you use it improperly you can get the wrong results. Furmark stresses your GPU and PSU more than most games. If it crashes your rig then it's likely either of those 2 parts is problematic. reseated the RAMs and used the different slots You should follow the motherboard manual's recommended RAM slots for your # of RAM sticks. Hello,
I've been having issues with my PC resetting while playing some games (Spellbreak, Rust) or streaming (HBOmax, Netflix). It does not crash during League of Legends or while watching YouTube). Some people have suggested a power supply issue (though I have a 700 w PSU). I ran the power test on OCCT. I'm not sure what it did but from looking at the temps/power/etc. it seems like it puts a lot more stress on the hardware than those games would. After the hour test, my computer never crashed and the test found no errors.
Would this rule out a power supply issue and probably an overheating issue?

OCCT PSU Test - Intermittent Pauses / Freezes, Test Still Runs | Overclock.net
I checked the OCCT logs and in the FPS chart it shows the dips. I did the separate GPU test and there were no freezes. My theory is that with the PSU test it puts stress on every part of the system, whilst the GPU is being stressed the CPU is also being stressed and from the charts I can see that the CPU is on near 100% utilization during the test - this no doubt has some kind of throttling effect on the GPU here and there - or it might just be something wrong with OCCT.
