OctaneBench® allows you to benchmark your GPU using OctaneRender. This provides a level playing field by making sure that everybody uses the same version and the same scenes and settings. Without these constraints, benchmark results can vary a lot and can't be compared.

Warning This JavaScript engine does not support Typed Arrays. You might want to run the V8 benchmark v7 instead. Please note that Octane is retired and no longer maintained. For more accurate results, start the browser anew before running the test.

January 22, 2024 - If you look at some of the top Results, the GPUs: Titan V, RTX 2080Ti, Quadro GV100, and RTX Titan, they all have more or less the same Octanebench Score, but the Price difference is HUGE. ... The main reason is, that the different Graphics Cards are meant for different use cases. An RTX 2080Ti is clearly meant more for Gaming than a Titan V or Tesla P100, and Gaming Cards, for our benefit, just happen to be great for Octane Rendering and score well in the Octane Benchmark.

It consists of 17 individual benchmarks, which are run and then the geometric average is calculated as the Octane score.

April 28, 2021 - To compare the single GPU performance, divide the overall server-level score by the number of GPUs. This graph shows the single GPU score for A100 GPU, 500.25, and V100 GPU, 367. It aligns with the other published results on the OctaneBench website.

May 25, 2023 - JetStream 3.0 is a JavaScript and WebAssembly benchmark suite focused on the most advanced web applications. It rewards browsers that start up quickly, execute code quickly, and run smoothly. For more information, read the in-depth analysis. Bigger scores are better. JetStream ran with non-standard parameters. The results are likely not comparable to default runs.
