I normally buy AE Original Bootcut because they seem to always be on sale for $30. I used to be a stretch jean hater but I absolutely love these things. For day to day but they're so comfy and easy to pull stuff out of the pockets while sitting but they aren't even close to the durability of 100% cotton denim. While working on my car there's a lot of kneeling on pavement and harsh chemicals that just destroy the spandex in them but I can't bring myself to buy $80 Levi's just to ruin them.

However I just found out that Old Navy still sells non-stretch straight jeans for 28$ and are $22 if you buy 3 pairs. Seems like a good deal to me unless someone knows of anything cheaper.
