As the title suggests, anybody else notice what I’ve been noticing the past 6 months or so?
You can no longer select to see clothing on different model sizes (used to be able to choose xl)
They now only go up to xxl on bras and underwear and a majority of pajamas (used to go up to 4x)
Some of their newer items coming out do not go up to the full extended size 30
A good handful of new items are not modeled on plus size models at all - no matter how far you scroll to try and see it
Just something I’ve observed that goes along with the very concerning skinny trend taking over in society once again. Seems the pendulum is swinging back and I’m super disappointed in some of old navy’s decisions.

They also don’t have as many tall or petite options anymore. For a lot of their shorts, I like to buy tall because I’m too old for short shorts, but in pants sometimes I need petite. Now in a lot of items, they either don’t have petite or don’t have petite XL/XXL. I hope they bring back all of their sizes, because I’ve actually been impressed with the quality at ON /Gap lately.

Old Navy is great with having plus size options and they have models of various sizes to model the clothes so you have someone who is small and extra large. This is something some of the plus size clothing companies don’t do as they only have the clothes in smaller models.
However, while there are plus size clothes options , quite often the plus sizes aren’t available? So they not have enough and they sell out fast?

i can't speak for other stores, but my store about a year ago was told to pull all our 4x and most of our 3x. our district manager told us it was due to them not being bought enough and that they wanted to make more room for more of the sizes that are shopped more, that being said, we always order online for customers if their size isn't available and we always have a few 4x in our clearance section that were returns. but online still has plus size clothing, it's just a shame they took it out of the stores

Online is always out. There has been a few posts about it in the past. My theory is that they don’t actually make those sizes anymore/ make a sustainable inventory because if they did, so many people wouldn’t bring it up.
