The Olympiad set is gradable with a short answer: either with a number, expression, or fuzzy string match, which helps with verifying correctness. However, this verification often trades off with the expressivity and open-endedness of the problem. For the Research set, we introduce a rubric-based architecture for grading more open-ended tasks.
