This is not an installer so make sure you set the lib and bin folder locations in your system path. If you don't know what that means let me know and I'll post further instructions (this is for PC). I'm trying to set up the Helsinki MOOC to learn Java, and it wants me to download Java 8.2 JDK from here http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
To download it, an account is required but when signing up I need to enter a bunch of information such as job title, work phone, company name and such. I don't have a programming job, I'm just starting to learn now. Is there a way to download the JDK without an account?

Another options to get the open-source version of the JDK is https://adoptopenjdk.net/ It is my go-to option, but many other providers, such as the one noted by Wolfhammer69, should be perfectly fine. Oracle has significantly changed the way they license their version of the JDK. It may have been a good source in the past, but now I would advise against downloading from their website.

Why not use the one that Redhat provides? Which is the preferred way of installation, judging from the OpenJDK install page.

Answering the comments:
Version locking can be achieved with yum-plugin-versionlock or rather by providing a local mirror (using Foreman and its 'Content Views' feature).
Downloading a RPM to a box can be done from a properly registered host with yumdownloader (see the yum-utils package).
Should you nonetheless be keen on installing your own version, creating a RPM is recommended. Take a look on how the Redhat/CentOS folk do it or use one of the other approaches as inspiration.

Note that openjdk.java.net is for builds of the OpenJDK provided by Oracle (which is not the same as Oracle JDK published under OTN license).
An alternative would be to use another distribution of OpenJDK:
- The free version of Azul Zulu
- AdoptOpenJDK has both HotSpot and OpenJ9
