I never understood why my opera (with clean cache) is downloading MAX at 3mb/s and usually as 50kb/s unless I run 2 downloads at the same time. I had this issue on chrome but after enabling multi-threaded download it seemed to disappear. Whenever I download a game on steam it installs very quickly and I doubt it's the connection since I have an okay download speed.
Anyone had the same issue?

Same issue in a test standalone installation ? Same issue if you goto the URL opera://settings/clearBrowserData, clear "History" for all time, goto the URL opera://about, take note of the "profile" path, close Opera and delete the "History" file in the profile folder? Same issue if you disable your anti-virus (as a test)?
