Hi, Go to opera://flags/#enable-parallel-downloading and enable the flag. Relaunch your browser for the flag to apply. Also please check your GX Limiters and disable the network limiter to be able to download with ease. It is worth noting where you are downloading from as many sites are known to PayWall unlimited DL speeds. Note - For the best experience, a dedicated Download manager is recommended as they offer more advanced features like Pause and Resume Threading Download link refreshing and so on Answer from Alphaspiderman on reddit.com

r/operabrowser on Reddit: How to speed up downloads?
September 27, 2023 -

I never understood why my opera (with clean cache) is downloading MAX at 3mb/s and usually as 50kb/s unless I run 2 downloads at the same time. I had this issue on chrome but after enabling multi-threaded download it seemed to disappear. Whenever I download a game on steam it installs very quickly and I doubt it's the connection since I have an okay download speed.

Anyone had the same issue?

edit: happens no matter what the source is
