You'd see a bigger difference from other hardware components than mouse switches. I believe the "standard" debounce time is four milliseconds. Ex. Going from 60 Hz to 144 Hz, you get an advantage of ~20 milliseconds, whereas optical switches aren't likely to be giving you more than a 4 millisecond advantage. Sure you can stack a beast of a PC with a 360 Hz monitor and optical switches the maximize your advantage but the switches themselves are a pretty miniscule part of the equation. Similarly, even among different mice they have different input delay with the same switches. Check out techpowerup's mouse reviews; there's something like 10+ milliseconds of extra input delay on certain mice compared to their benchmark.

If U live in an high humidity area corrosion to the contacts can Happen alot faster. I dont want a Mouse that can Develop a Double click in under 6.month If U pay 100€. Optical switches are also faster If implemented correctly and will Not degrade over time. So opticals are Superior. But in my area IT doesnt Matter so i Chose which Mouse shape i Like the Most. I have a question regarding the EGG OP1WE since there are quite a number of complaints regarding its heavy switch. I am new in this so-called "rabbit hole", so my question here might seems silly to some. Hence, I asked, please bear with me gents. Aside from the first issue mentioned, I have also read that optical switch is always better than mechanical switches due to speed and longevity. But, a lot of people are switching the switch inside the op1we into the lighter one sold by EGG or buy a lighter mech switch from a third party. Going from that, I asked this one online shop which switch would be great to be paired with the op1we and he/she recommended the Huano Transparent/White Micro switch.
So, is the conversion to the mech switch worth it for op1we? Is the switch recommended good? And what are the downsides if I were to convert the optical switch to the mech one? Thank you.

I never experienced double click but when it comes to click feel mechanical is better than optical for me the only downside is mushy feel for optical
