Self-adhesive backsplash?
Peel and stick tile backsplash? Add grout later?
Anyone have experience with peel and stick backsplash tiles?
Peel and stick backsplash, give me the pros and cons

Hi everyone, I purchased a house a couple years ago with a kitchen that hasn’t been updated since the house was built in the 70s. All the walls are painted white, and there is no backsplash. We plan on remodeling the entire kitchen, but realistically won’t be able to do that for at least a couple years. Since we do plan on remodeling, I don’t want to spend the money on actual backsplash, but I was looking at the self-adhesive backsplash on Amazon to make the kitchen look slightly better in the meantime. I mentioned it to my husband and he said he’s seen it at Home Depot and it looks “extremely tacky” in person. Has anyone used this and been pleased with the results, and if so is there a specific brand you recommend? TIA
I see products like this on Amazon: Limited-time deal: Art3d Peel and Stick Brick Kitchen Backsplash Self-Adhesive Wall Tile Stone Design, 10 Sheets (Blue) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SZ5BYK2/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_dl_1FPMM5PNA5P5X9MPKJWW
I don't like the idea of just peeling and sticking but I like the tiles and pattern. Anyone use these? Can one peel/stick and then add grout later? Or use grout to stick them, adhesive be damned? Thanks!
