Sup boys, saw Peterbot saying on stream that using no double movement fits better his playstyle and he wouldn't use any because it would affect his performance. My question is.. what are the advantages and disadvantages of using double movement settings? I don't know if this is true but i notice my character moving slower when i put it on 70ish, but i would like to know specific stuff that are better with it and without it, thanks. ✌️

I switched back and forth several times and finally stayed with doublemovement off. I realised my aim is way more consistent with doublemovement off.. especially inside a box.. some building techniques may tho be harder with doublemovement off.. last thing which pissed me off the most with doublemovement on is the weird crab walk animation straffing to the left..

Asking here if there’s one with a specific competitive advantage? Im sure someone has done some intensive testing around this. The most popular one I’ve seen is 70/90/135 but is there a particular reason?? Feeels like epic changed this a bit this season because it feels a bit more sluggish staging to the right after the new season. Here are all the pros that I’ve been able to get any information about what they use:
Cooper + Khanads: 70/90/135
Pollo: 74/90/135
EpikWhale: 73/90/135
Pxlarized: ?!???????
Savage + Graal: 64/90/122

Peterbot does not use customs, and I think Clix is on 62/90/135. I've played around with it and prefer 60/90/135. Allows me to zigzag nicely while sprinting, and doesn't stall my glider while I fly diagonally checking my sides as I land.

Its strange, I dont know why they all use 90 for the strafe. If you have it set on 90 and you strafe without also pressing forward, you strafe super slow. Is that intentional? Where as if you lower the strafe from 90 to 76, you end up strafing quicker even if you do not press W (forward). Can someone explain why slow strafing with 90 is better?
