There is a differential air temperature and speed around the house. The pen nearest the door is colder and has more draught than those by the outlet fan. The whole house has to be at 30°C as the pigs are expected to sleep in all the pens – despite the fact that some pens may have a draught.

r/pigs on Reddit: Will pigs sleep anywhere you put them or do they need to be comfy in order to do so?
May 24, 2024 -

Since pigs sleep a lot I'm wondering if they'll make themselves comfy no matter where they are or if they need to have a certain setup.

My friend has a pig and he sleeps all over the place in the backyard. Sometimes in his shed but he'll bake out in the sun in the dirt. I don't know if pigs will do the same in your living room, car, bedroom, office, bathroom, basement, or whereever they please.
