No. If it fails and you need a jump, you have to hope that someone else has cables. On the other hand, if you have cables, you can get a jump from anyone who has a car. I usually recommend cables the length of your car plus around 5 feet (in case you need a jump from someone behind your car. That said, it's certainly convenient to have the mini battery pack for jumpstarts (and can easily hand it off to someone else if they need it, especially in a sketchy area). But it's probably only going to be good for one or two jumps before it needs a charge. If you need more jumpstarts (say an alternator is out), you could have problems. Me, I have both. Hello all! I have the above battery charger. When I set everything up and plug in the machine the green LED lights up immediately showing that the charge is complete and the battery isn't pulling any voltage from the charger. Based on that do you think I need a new battery or is my charger defective? Thanks in advance
