Hey legends,
I’m in the market for a flat pack fire pit and would love some recommendations! I’m after something durable and portable for camping trips. Ideally, I’m looking for a fire pit that:
Packs down flat for easy storage and transport.
Comes with an ash tray.
Preferably stainless steel.
Would appreciate any recommendations you’ve used and loved, or if you’ve spotted something that fits the bill. Also open to any pros/cons you’ve found with different designs or brands.
Thanks in advance!
I'm going camping next week to a place I haven't been before, and all fires need to be in a fire pit that does no damage to the ground. They rent you theirs for $30 which is an option, but if I can get a decent one for not too much more, it's probably worth it in the long run - if I like this place, I'll go back again same time next year.
Adventure Kings seems to be the most budget - seems small though?
Flat pack Fires Australia seems to be pretty on point for price - $140 for a 600mm x 400mm pit made with 5mm plate.
Third option seems to be this BCF one which is a bit different but could be good if it works as advertised.
Still - those last two are over $100 when really a rake and some rocks can give you a safe place for a fire.
Keen to know what other people use, if they'd recommend it and the cost.
I also need to be able to get it this week to go away next week.
