Prepaid credit/debit card for online purchases?
Your bank may offer virtual credit card numbers that expire based on time and/or spending limit.
If they don't, services like privacy.com will do it for you, if you trust them. They're one of few (if any other) services that don't charge extra fees. The downside is that they're basically setting up a debit card that directly debits your bank account, so if their system screws up and doesn't block a charge, you are subject to way more risk than you would be with a credit card. But if you search them in this sub, you'll find a lot of people happy with them, so it's the one I'd recommend.
Ultimately if you're only interested in fraud protection, any credit card alone should suffice. If it gets leaked, you just chargeback and switch numbers. Very little risk to you.
