I do not like facebook at all but I want to use an account to sell some items because the marketplace is apparently where everyone goes to buy used things in this town. I want to keep my profile completely private. I find it strange to have my profile public and have people rummaging through my profile just because I’m selling a nice living room table. Will this scare buyers off if my profile is set to private? I’m thinking of using a completely new account with no previous posts or anything for selling. Which would be better for selling — an old account set to private or a new blank account?
