I got a little propane campchef pit and 5lb ignik tank with the same idea…family car camping in burn ban areas. Unfortunately the rangers I’ve encountered still asked us not to use it. Somebody on here's got to know hydraulic and gas fittings. But, if no one else comes to your rescue, you could go by a hydraulic supply/repair place and let them take a look at it; there's a good chance they will get you the fitting you need, maybe even just the o-ring. More on reddit.com
