Okay so I have a total of 6 BeQuiet Silent Wings 3 PWM fans in my PC (4 case fans at 140mm, and 2 for my Dark Rock Pro 4 air cooler).
I also have a Deepcool FH-10 PWM fanhub that connects all of these fans to the CPU_FAN header.
I wanted to ask what the BEST Q-fan control curve is for the most silent system that I can build with my configuration. I currently have them at their absolute minimum operation levels, until CPU temperatures climb above 50 to gradually increase RPM. But I sometimes notice the fans spinning up real fast for a few seconds, only to come back down to silent levels. How do I eliminate these random spinups??

When I click on QFan Control the CPU Fan Profile is set on DC standard, but next to DC is has PWM. Also the CHA2 is set on DC standard as well. What is PWM and which of the two should it be on? So my Asus BIOS allows my 3 x chassis fans to be controlled via their Q-Fan options. When disabled, by default, the fans spin at full speed ~1200rpm. If you have asus ai suite installed, go into the fan expert section and set the chassis fan profile to the same as set in bios, (silent, standard or turbo) then calibrate the fan settings and hit apply.
