So currently in my PO3 world I have an Extreme Reactor generating 300kRF/t, which goes into an infinity capacitor from Overloaded. That is then pulled out by an energy extractor (also Overloaded) and sent into a spectre energy injector. Obviously the energy injector hits the buffer almost immediately, but that shouldn't be an issue because the excess is stored in the infinity capacitor. Here's the weird part:
Every now and then, the amount of energy stored in the spectre energy injector jumps to an enormous negative number, and then drains all the available power to fill itself back up. I have no idea why this is happening, especially because there's currently nothing actually connected to the spectre network. My first thought was some problem with the integer limit, but I'm not generating anywhere near *that* much power.
Edit: This definitely has something to do with the integer limit. As soon as the infinity capacitor hits 2,147,283,647 (32-bit integer limit), the spectre energy injector jumps to -2,147,283,647. But why??? This doesn't make any sense as the infinity capacitor capacity is supposed to be capped at the much much larger 64-bit integer limit, and even if it hits the cap I don't see why the spectre energy injector would go negative.
Edit 2: So the problem is fixed when you put anything that limits flux transfer (i.e. a non-gelid cryotheum fluxduct) between the energy extractor and the spectre energy injector. So that leads me to believe that the spectre injector works by attempting to pull from available sources, and when the source is unlimited and tries to transfer more energy than it can handle, it overflows and goes negative. I will try to fix this in the code, does anybody know if the modmaker is still active?

We have been encountering some strong RF interference lately, but the way in which it's happening has me at my wit's end.
We are a church, so our equipment is primarily used on Sunday mornings. We've had this system for almost 5 years, and have had minimal issues during that time. However, a couple months ago, we started having intermittent issues with RF interference.
Here's the rundown of the details:

We typically run 10-12 channels of wireless, Sennheiser ew 500 g3/g4, in the A1 and Aw+ ranges (470-516MHz, 470-558MHz).

We use WSM to monitor frequencies and RF levels.

We use RFVenue Distro4's with 2 Sennheiser fin antennas, located above upstage.

During worship and announcements, we have never had any significant problems. However, as soon as the sermon starts, on 3 random weeks now there has been crazy interference that has rendered the mic unusable. As an example: Audio Sample

A couple of the weeks, when we turned the system on before anyone else is in the building, the background RF level was almost 20db across the spectrum, approaching the highest squelch we can set. However, the most recent time, it was fine until the moment the message started.

Every week, the main speaking headset has been on a different frequency, and it's random whether any other mics are affected, and if so, which ones.

It has never occured (or at least, been noticed) at any time other than during 1st service on Sunday mornings; even 2nd service, 30 minutes later, has never had problems.
So I'm at a loss as to what steps we could take to solve this problem. We're in a position where if we need to spend a couple $G's to fix this, we can make that happen.
Are there any steps we can take to diagnose the problem, and/or mitigate it?
I've heard that digital systems are less susceptible to RF interference; is that true, and if so, would an upgrade to EW-DX potentially help address these issues?
I build a Space-Void Dimension with everything specified (I thought), but there are still random things in it, because it costs more than specified. (Maintenance cost: 458 RF/t (Specified 457 RF/t)) Has anybody an idea what dimlet I am missing? Dimlet-list:

This is not likely to be a good method to generate random numbers -- at least not on its own, without significant additional analysis. You need a source of random numbers that is not only noisy, but also unpredictable to an adversary. It's not clear that radio will meet that need. If you listen on a FM band, an adversary who is nearby can also listen on the same FM frequency and will likely see something very similar to what you see, so will have a huge leg up in predicting the numbers you generated.
Bottom line: don't try to roll your own random-number source. It's better to use a time-tested scheme, like a crypto-strength hardware RNG, or /dev/urandom, or a similar crypto-strength scheme.
There isn't one really for the amateur TRNG builder. Have a look at the frequency allocation for 0 - 300 GHz below:-

There are no gaps. A common First World problem is the provision of spectrum for all the intended uses. That's why microwave ovens share WiFi spectrum and Freeview TV competes with mobile phones.
What might seem a quiet (or hissy) gap between radio stations just means that you've not picked up anything at that time. Wait till sunset when the Ionosphere is on line, and you might hear France. Similarly when Stan fires up his arc welder next door you might hear that, or a passing police car.
The other significant issue with unpredictable entropy sources is measuring the entropy rate. That's notoriously difficult for a simple fixed source, but much worse if it can vary in frequency and /or amplitude. And radio varies so much, notwithstanding atmospherics. A mistake in assessing the input rate to entropy extraction risks breaking the golden rule of TRNGs (entropy out < entropy in). So there is the risk your DIY TRNG becoming a common pseudo random number generator.
No one uses radio noise as a TRNG for these reasons. I specifically and with prejudice exclude random.org. That's a private organisation with very little hard detail of how they do what they claim to do. And clearly they only have access to exactly the same spectrum as everyone else.
The hiss is actually thermal noise on the radio's detector and pre amp circuits. You can short circuit this and directly exploit thermal /avalanche noise in a reasonably simple custom circuit pulled off the internet. You can get 1000's bps of entropy this way.

My coworkers and I suspect another has planted a bug in our office. The thing is, we have so many random electronics, so much random junk it’s impossible to find any evidence. The only thing I can think of now, is to either get her to admit somehow, or buy a RF detector which all seem unreliable. Any recommendations?
