I like it. It is an interesting piece of tech. Feels natural for gaming. My only concerns are text typing feels weird without feedback, I slam the keys all the way down and it affects my type speed. And key springs are too tight for my taste, my finger tires from constantly pressing W i.e. I disabled rapid trigger and adjusted key press depth for that reason. About your questions. I had no problems with synapse whatsoever. You can adjust depth of press by 0.1mm single key, multiple keys, all keys in synapse. And you can see your current depth of press while pushing any button on the keyboard. You press a key to desired depth, see it on a meter, set the desired depth, really easy. Moreover you don't need synapse at all, just press Fn+Tab and you can adjust depth of press any time with a volume wheel or arrow keys, the keyboard even has integrated depth meter to try it. About build quality, I haven't found any defects. The keyboard is made of plastic with metal rim/bumper, keys are textured, leds are inside the key shafts so there is no bloom/halo around the key, just engraved letter. The palm rest that was included is kinda cheap tho, it is not leather, not even soft, just plastic. Probably to sell you their Pro rest variants. There is no sound at all if you don't smash the key all the way down. No mechanical sound, click or anything, just plastic on plastic. But as I said earlier it is difficult to type, so you will probably hit the keys to the bottom first time. Razer was the only keyboards I used before Wooting. I never had an issue with any of their products. It's kind of nice to see the "big boys" catching up to what Wooting was doing, but it's going to put pressure on Wooting to continue to innovate and stay ahead of the curve. Did anyone get the Razer huntsman v3 Keyboard? How is it compared to the wooting?
I don't understand it. Those keyboards are available on razer's shop for over a week or two, some people bought it from amazon too, but there are very few reviews of it, none from a major channel and it is not available in local stores in my country. i'm really considering buying it and haven't had a razer keyboard ever (except for a huntsman mini that i sold after a week but purely because i wanted a full-sized keyboard) nor have i ever had an optical switches keyboard haha
i currently have a red switches Corsair K70 MK.2 and despite it being a solid keyboard :
- some of the keys double-type (mainly those i use the most for gaming)
- some switches wore out and fall out if i don't press them in the absolute middle (bottom left control key)
my main questions regarding the HM V3 PRO are :
- how is synapse when it comes to controlling the actuation point? i've heard that despite the actuation point being VERY precise; synapse can be a little difficult at times
- how is the build quality?
- is the typing sound really that annoying over time? it hasn't bothered me on videos that i've watched but i've seen a lot of people complain about it

Just buy it :) Synapse 4 is a good software, 3 was a mess, but now it's a really good app :) Build quality is one of the best for gaming keyboards, you won't notice any problems with quality. Except one thing - you may experience coil whine from lightning unfortunately. I have Huntsman V3 Pro TKL and TKL 8kHz and both pieces have coil whine from 15-20% of lightning level. At 100% coil whine is really annoying :( Some of lightning effects (Fire for example) has not so loud whine, but Static at 25% and higher coil whine is really noticeable. Typing sound of first non-8 kHz version is a bit cheap, yes, but it's a gaming keyboard, not a typing one, so main function is gaming and its perfect. Main problem with sound is a hollow case, "echo" inside it transferring to the table and here you go, cheap sounding. But it's actually not that bad, I used first version for two years and can't say it's so awful. Set actuation point higher, disable Rapid Trigger and type by the tip of a finger barely touching keys :) not bad at all. The 8 kHz version on the other hand is very good now, no "echo", pleasant strokes, a huge step from first version, but there's still some room for improvement, like plastic housing could be more soundproofed. Overall, taking into account all gaming features, Huntsman V3 Pro/8 kHz has no other competitors out there, so if you considering a purchase of Razer Huntsman V3 Pro, you should try it!

Looks like Razer is stepping up their game to hopefully take back market share from wooting / steelseries (and perhaps reclaim the 👑?) with the launch of the huntsman v3 pro line up offering full layout, tkl and 60%. Was looking at the specs of 60%, things similar to wooting (though performance yet to be validated) are rapid trigger, modifier keys, storing of profile (up to 6) in the keyboard and seem to be just wired mode (sadly I’d hope for wireless like steelseries apex). Still require the Synapse software to configure the details though. I really like wooting where can just use web based wootility. Not sure if the pbt keycaps are swappable since not mentioned. Thoughts?

These are brand new completely redesigned and rebuilt gen 2 analog switches. In the announcement they said the other switches were released 4 years ago and that these gen 2s do not have any similarities to them other than being analog as well. Fully .1 to 4.0 and they even have a few things wooting doesnt currently have. Dont compare this keyboard to the performance of the other razer analog 1st gen. Wait for the performance reviews to judge.
