I'm looking to invest in a huntsman keyboard, and was looking at the optional stuff. The PBT and phantom keycaps both look good, but I'm not sure which is better for me. I mostly do gaming, and sometimes some other stuff like work.

Very disappointed in the Razer Phantom Keycap Upgrade Set. They said it's a universal kit and compatible with the 65% keyboards. I have the Razer Blackwidow V3 Mini Hyperspeed. The keycap kit has a much smaller font. Also the font isn't as sharp. It almost looks a little fuzzy. On top of that...the frosted look cuts back on the amount of light that shines through by a lot. On top of that, almost all the FN controls are missing from the front side of the keys. It has the media functions but that's about it. I figured this would allow me to have to same thing as if I ordered the Phantom version of this keyboard but it's not the same.

I tried to return it and Razer made me pay shipping. The cost to ship was more than half of what I paid. It wasn't even worth it. I almost just threw it in the trash but decided to just throw it in a storage box in case I ever wanted to use it with a different keyboard. Definitely wouldn't ever purchase again. Love the keyboard...but these keycaps are not as advertised.

I really like the look of the Razer Phantom keycaps (I swear I'm not a Razer stan), but I don't want to buy them if they will shine (they are ABS). From the videos I've seen people haven't talked about them shining, but I don't know if all ABS keycaps shine or just some. Do you know if they do?

If they do shine, I need an alternative. Are there any relatively cheap PBT alternatives?

Was just wondering before I order them if anyone has them on a huntsman v2 tkl and has some pics of possibly before and after switching out the keycaps.
