Is the new one truly worth the extra 300? I also work a lot with my iPad, if that matters!

Hi community,

i am a lifelong windows user and i finally decided to get myself a macbook and commiting to an ecosystem for the first time ever. I bought a 15 pro some weeks ago (switched from Samsung) and also bought an ipad mini 6.

I sold my gaming Laptop (built a desktop pc for gaming) and decided to go with a macbook.

After days of nearly "going insane" because i couldn't decide what kind of macbook i need/want (seriously, M2 or M3, air or pro,14" or 15" or 16",60hz vs 120hz, hdmi vs non hdmi, IPS panel vs mini led panel, it was bizarrely a super tough choice for me) i finally chose to order a 15" macbook air. A refurbished one to be precise, with 16gb of ram and 1tb of ssd storage.

Here is my first question out of curiosity: I've heard many good things about Apple certified refurbished items. Has anyone here bought a refurbished Mac recently? How was your experience? How many battery charge cycles did your unit have?

My main question is, as i am a windows switcher, what are some must have apps to download, especially Apps that make my switch from windows a bit easier ans smoother for me. For example i have heard about the app "Rectangle" so its easier to manipulate windows. Anymore useful apps?

And any general tips?

My refurbished macbook air should arrive today, i am pretty excited to say the least! choose space grey btw, i visited the store a few days ago and was blown away by this subtle grey color. Space grey reminds me of a very nice BMW steel grey tone from the E46 era somehow . I also checked out the new space black on the new macbook pro's, didn't like it very much. I think it's pretty overhyped. But then again, it's just a color.

Oh and yeah, kinda stupid from me to buy one RIGHT NOW, so shortly before the black friday thing. But i honestly don't think to find a good deal on this configuration air, so i pulled the trigger anyway.
