Hi all! Looking for feedback on Revival washable rugs if anyone has to share?! I have two ruggables, and really no complaints (ok fine, the color fading isn’t ideal), but i’m looking for a softer option for my bedroom. Revival caught my attention and their reviews seem great, but I know better than to not ask reddit. Let me know!!

I've had the Revival Gearhart rug in my living room for about a year now and I absolutely hate it. It always looks messy and it sheds like no rug I've ever seen before. I can fill my large vacuum up 5x in one cleaning session. The quality of the rug is very reminiscent of a cheap shag bath mat. We are going to be doing some renovations soon, otherwise I would have already replaced it. For context, I have rugs from Article, Ruggable, and Safavieh and while they are all not great in their own way, my Revival rug is so much worse. I've heard a lot of good things about RugsUSA on Reddit so I'll probably check them out once I find a style I like.
Opinions on Revival Rugs?
Just bought a Revival Rugs wool rug. SMELLS LIKE A DAIRY FARM. It REEKS. We rented a Rug Doctor cleaner to clean it, and it STILL STINKS. I can smell it outside from 5 feet away. Horrible. Unusable. Editing to add that the quality is also horrible. Very sparse loops. Shockingly, the swatch rug was completely different fabrication - tight and tense loops. The rug you actually get when purchased is loose and scraggly and, as mentioned, reeks to high heaven. Unbelievable ripoff scheme. More on reddit.com

December 17, 2023Does Anyone Have The Revival Shell Rug in Bone/Beige?
I have this rug and love it. We have two dogs (and usually another foster dog) and it cleans like a dream. I’ve been able to just wipe away mud, and other stains have come out very easily. It still looks brand new and dogs are constantly playing on it, digging their nails into it, etc. One critical thing I’ll say is that it doesn’t vacuum well with my Dyson (it almost feels like the suction is getting a little stuck), so I just use our roomba over it and it works great. February 13, 2024Has anyone bought a rug from revival?
I bought three 100% wool rugs from Revival and have been pleased so far (it’s been maybe 4-5 months). They do have a farm smell for a few days after unboxing, but it disappears quickly (and tbh I kind of liked it). The only thing I wasn’t totally prepared for is their brutal honesty that yes, there really are twigs and grass and animal hair intertwined in the rugs. Have been picking those out when I see them. They’re soft though, exactly as pictured (note that I didn’t buy the vintage rugs), and as described on their site. More on reddit.com

I've been considering purchasing a Revival rug and have been looking through reviews for some time now. For the most part they are GLOWING. There are a couple of warnings to stay away from high pile wool rugs due to their shedding, but otherwise there really isn't anything too concerning. All I can find are a couple of Reddit threads with said info, blogs recommending it, and then the reviews on the website. There are barely any 1 star or 2 star reviews, and the ones that are present aren't too harsh. It either is that the color was off or the size was slightly off. And even then a lot of them say that they just went with a different Revival rug.
Are critical reviews on Revival rugs being removed? Does anyone have any experience with the rugs?

Came here to add that revival is a terrible company to have to deal with. They have no real customer support. I've ordered a handful of rugs from them and had success with one but a terrible time with another. The returns process is frustrating and expensive. All these companies seem to be drop shipping power loomed rugs from India, and my guess is they sit around in Indias humid climate in some warehouse getting extra nasty waiting to be shipped directly to your house. The old adage of you get what you pay for comes to mind. I wouldn't do it again.
