An acquaintance is selling one for 750USD but open to negotiation; they used it only a handful of times. I'm completely new to gaming laptops and tech stuff in general so I'm wondering if it's worth $750 or if I should try to go lower and if so, what I should try to bring it to.
I currently have an M1 MBP but I'm looking for a gaming laptop for Windows compatibility. I've heard battery life could be worse after 3 years but I'm not too concerned about that since I rarely play on battery anyways.

Try looking at the 2022 versions, in the us they are currently around 700-800 dollars rn. Or if you want to push to get good value, 2023 version goes on sale for $999.

Can you get its full model name (e.g. GA401QM) or its specs? US$750 is too high, IMHO, especially if it is one of the lower end models. If you plan on using this laptop for gaming, especially if you want to play one of the newer titles, you should aim for 2023 4060 as the baseline, like the other Redditor suggested. It goes on sale regularly at Best Buy for US$999.
