I am using uxtu and it works. We can't overclock or undervolt so i assume it is safe hardware wise. The app is open source and on github. More on reddit.com

My laptop cpu was going till 95c playing Plague Tale Requiem and Uncharted 4. I heard about Ryzen controller. I downloaded it and set the temperature limit to 80 and now it I get almost the same performance but with much lower temperatures. Its pretty cool how a simple setting change made all the difference!

Hello everyone, i am currently using an acer nitro 5 with a 5800h.
I like to game on my laptop but i prefer lower temps to higher fps so i always watch out for temps.
My question is; is there a good preset for 5800h for ryzen controller, or any amd cpu for that case or should i just check temp limit and be done with it?
2. Is amd apu tool utility is just for the integrated gpu?
3. Can anyone explain what is the optimal setting in processor power management: disabled, agressive, efficient or efficient until guaranteed?

Balanced. It will rest at just under base clock when idle on AC, and ramp up to max if needed. High performance keeps the clocks unnecessarily high..and battery saver keeps them low and introduces a delay to boost.
