I have a solo stove. You do get a faint campfire smell but you have to be very close to really smell it. I only use my solo stove while tailgating but used a similar concept (long before solo stove came onto the market) in building my home firepit. With that we built it in mind of reducing smoke by about 75% so there's still some that comes out for the camp fire smell without choking us out. Hey everyone, my mom's birthday is approaching and she loves backyard campfires. I feel like everytime we have a fire, we play the game of rotating chairs to avoid excessive smoke.
I was thinking about getting her a smokeless pit, but I have some questions. First, do you still get that campfire smell? Second, are there any good ones for general fires and not just solo campfire/cooking? Thanks!!
