Its translations include the inflection of the speaker and they helped me set up a little “project” that will translate spoken English to Spanish and Spanish to English without having to change anything. I have AirPod Pros and an IPhone 16.

umm, googletranslate.com - works for me. I use it in Japan all the time - it’s almost flawless. The other person can say something and it translates it almost immediately. But if you have your AirPods in then when you say something back in English they aren’t going to hear the Japanese translation because that will also play in the Airpods.

I'm trying to be optimistic. I freaking LOVE everything about the earphones. But one of the main reasons I brought these for was the live translation that supposed to well, you know.... translate.
I'm a English speaker learning Spanish that travels monthly so I thought these would be great ... The translation is super slow, incorrect and doesn't track the conversation well at all.
I urge you to try it for yourself. Go to youtube and find a video in another language and see if you have better success....
Even tho I love everything else, I wouldn't have brought them if I knew it would be this bad. Hopefully they can improve it with future updates.

Oh that's good to know. It always looked to me like another one of those AI features that absolutely won't work as intended, and here is confirmation. I was considering buying them since I live in a Francophone place, but I won't even bother then

To anyone who bought the headphones for these...first time? It's a gimmick. Buy for the good quality speakers.
